Though my reality is that I am Indian, India has often denied me my Indian ness.
My interest in this discrepancy between personal and others perception reflects in my work. The videos observe and present instances where dualities in perception are revealed on a single platform.
havaldaar imaandaar playfully explores, and reveals, the discrepancy between how the law really functions and it idylic public persona.
In the end, the work is a playful, beautiful and ultimately hopeful exploration of conflict. |
