After a long hot summer day in a small Austrian village both tourists and locals are rendered as equal by engaging in the common activity of ice cream eating - entering a state of mind of orally induced self hypnosis. Documenting this scenario the movieÂ’s perspective shifts back and forth between reportage and a form of social voyeurism. |
