| Sinopsis: | An extract from a longer video filmed on a bateau mouche in Strasbourg. The whole journey is circular, the centre of Strasbourg being an island. The boat trip is a voyage through two types of time : the history of the city revealed by its architecture and the real time passing on the journey and recorded on video. However, the viewer cannot see what the passengers see. The passengers are transformed into an audience and the boat becomes an optical apparatus that directs their gaze (and ours). |
